Rough Itinerary

Obviously things change so get in contact for more detailed planning and remember you'll have to stay FLEXIBLE!

PCT Fundraiser - $1 for every mile we hike to support "Inspiring Girls Expeditions"
Dear Friends and Family,
On May 4th, 2017, we (Hannah Kiser and Chelan Pauly) will embark on epic adventure to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. The PCT is 2,650 miles of single track trail, connecting the Mexican border to the Canadian border. It climbs and descends through California, Oregon, and Washington states, crossing the hottest deserts and highest mountains in the US. This hike will be a personal journey, but we also want to use this opportunity to increase awareness and support for young girls who have a passion for adventure. For each mile we hike, we would like to raise at least $1 to help send one girl on a life-changing adventure through Inspiring Girls Expeditions.
Inspiring Girls Expeditions is a nonprofit organization that leads high school girls on wilderness science-education programs – for free. Each summer, a team of 8-9 girls and 3 instructors spend 12 days exploring and learning about glaciers and the alpine landscape where the program is based. Teams conduct scientific field studies with professional geologists, ecologists, mountain guides, and artists. These expeditions challenge each girl to gain confidence in their physical, intellectual, and social abilities. Science is connected with all aspects of daily life, resulting in lifelong advocates for Earth science and the scientific process.
We have both been inspired by science and the outdoors and feel passionate about helping other young women achieve their adventurous dreams. Please help us send a girl on an Inspiring Girls Expedition by donating below. Each step we take along the PCT will blaze the way for future young adventurers.
